Settings & accounts

Open Settings with File ▸ Settings… (⌘,). It's organized into sections down the left side.

Agent

Choose your AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI), model, and, where supported, a reasoning effort, and enter your API key. The key is stored in the macOS Keychain; the provider and model are remembered between sessions. Full walkthrough: Setting up the AI agent.

Plugins

Scan for AU and VST3 plugins, see the discovered list and count, and clear the crash blocklist. This section appears when plugin hosting is available.

Accounts & entitlements

Signing in is handled by the account button in the title bar, not the Settings window. Your plan and entitlements are read from your account when you sign in; today, nothing in the editor is gated behind them.
