Third-party plugins

Scan and host your Audio Unit and VST3 plugins as effects inside JAW AI.

JAW AI hosts your third-party Audio Unit (AU) and VST3 plugins, so your favourite processors work as effects right alongside the built-ins.

Scanning for plugins

  1. Open plugin settings

    Go to File ▸ Settings… and open the Plugins section (or choose Scan Plugins from the menu).

  2. Scan

    Click Scan for Plugins. JAW AI searches the standard AU and VST3 locations and lists what it finds, with a running count and live progress.

  3. Use them as effects

    Discovered plugins appear in the effect picker, so you can add them to the effect stack like any built-in effect and open their own editor windows.
